FAHPAC integrated development program for women is aims to equip women with knowledge and skills in; Negotiation, Spousal and Mother-Child communication; business/investment initiative initiation and management; Home management, Reproductive Health Care Decision Making.
Children who lose a parent to AIDS suffer grief and confusion. Their loss is often worsened by prejudice and social exclusion, and can lead to loss of education, health care and the property they may be entitled to inherit should the second parent die as well. These children like many others are been supported by FAHPAC through child sponsorship initiatives, provision of basic primary education and medical services, advocacy, counselling and vocational training.
FAHPAC provides a comprehensive and integrated development program package for in and out of school young people. The program packages: Youth friendly Adolescent Reproductive health services, Vocational Empowerment skills including Computer training, Leadership Skills and Community Development empowerment, Formal & Non-Formal Educational Support Services.
In 1996, FAHPAC pioneered HIV/AIDS support group in the South West, Nigeria. Since then the organization has contributed to HIV/AIDS prevention treatment and care and support FAHPAC is also in the vanguard in reducing stigmatization and discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS and enhance access to treatment. Our activities includes voluntary consent confidential testing services for individuals and groups; Assisting orphan and vulnerable children; Providing home-based care and support for PLWHAs; offering emergency/short stay clinical care services for PLWHAs; Provision of food and hygiene packs; facilitating drop-in- Center for PLWHA; turning waste to wealth initiative for sustainability of PLWHA.
